In the framework of Re-Imagine Europa’s programme Future4Citizens, in cooperation with La Caixa Foundation and the Spanish Committee of the European League for Economic Cooperation and under the framework of European Capital of Democracy, on 19th October 2023 Re-imagine Europa will host the first Citizens’ Dialogues at CaixaForum Macaya

By listening to the concerns and hopes of citizens, and building consensus on the most urgent social and economic issues, we aim to change the way we think and talk about the Future of Europe.

Following a unique design of interactive sessions, the event will see the participation of local citizens together with experts to debate and collectively reimagine critical issues to reach innovative ideas actionable through a process of co-creation

We value the diversity of opinions as an enriching element of the deliberative process, and bring people together to identify shared objectives. The final outcomes from different countries will be translated into policy proposals to help build the political agenda ahead of the 2024 European elections.

The event is under the official programme of European Capital of Democracy 2023/2024, and it is supported by:

The event will be held in Spanish and is open to Barcelona’s citizens.
