Anna de Liddo
Anna De Liddo is a Professor of Human-Computer Interaction and Director of Research at the Knowledge Media Institute (KMi) of the Open University in the UK. She leads the Intelligent Deliberation (IDea) group, developing tools like bcause.app, that use argument visualization and NLP to help people navigate complex debates.
Originally trained in urban planning, she now applies those participatory principles to the digital world, focusing ob collective intelligence, digital democracy, and the impact of technology on public engagement.
As the technical lead of Open University for Orbis and MultiPoD, she is a pivotal figure in the evolution of both EU-funded projects.
