Gerhard Stahl is a German economist and academic specialising in public policy, monetary affairs, and international economic relations, particularly EU-China cooperation. Stahl has held senior roles in European institutions, including Secretary General of the Committee of the Regions from 2004 to 2014 and Deputy Head of Cabinet for the European Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs.
