Sandrine Dixson-Declève
Honorary President/Global Ambassador of the Club of Rome, Executive Chair of Earth for All, and Co-Chair/Co-Founder of the System Transformation Hub
Sandrine Dixson-Declève is a globally recognised leader in climate change, sustainable development, and sustainable finance. She served as Co-President of the Club of Rome from 2018 to 2024—the first woman to hold that role, together with Mamphela Ramphele.
An author and thought-leader, Sandrine co-authored Earth for All – A Survival Guide to Humanity (2022), works at the frontier of systems-change, and helps generate policy-oriented research such as A System Change Compass: Implementing the European Green Deal in a Time of Recovery.
She holds degrees in International Relations & French from UC Davis and in Environmental Sciences from the University of Brussels. Over her career she has advised governments, EU institutions, international organisations and businesses.
Currently serving as Honorary President/Global Ambassador of the Club of Rome, Executive Chair of Earth for All, and Co-Chair/Co-Founder of the System Transformation Hub. Holds board and advisory roles with UCB, Eurazeo Planetary Boundaries Fund, Imperial College London’s Leonardo Centre, The Hoffmann Centre for Global Sustainability, and others. Chairs the Advisory Board of Climate-KIC, serves as a Climate Governance Commissioner, is an Ambassador for the Energy Transition Commission and the Wellbeing Alliance. She teaches at the College of Europe and is a Fellow of the World Academy of Science & Art, and the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL).
