GeSI Digital with Purpose Global Summit Conference

On 27, 28 and 29 September 2023, the Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative (GeSI) will proudly host the 2nd Digital with Purpose (DWP) Global Summit at the Altice Arena in Lisbon, Portugal.

As part of the rapid digital transformation of society, new innovations to gather and use data for health are at the very core of a dramatic shift of paradigms in preventing and curing disease.

To take stock of recent developments, Re-Imagine Europa will organise the panel “Big Data and Health Care“, on September 27th at 17h30 (CET), to address the new opportunities in the changing legislative framework on health data in Europe, the creation of a new “data space” in health as well as the impact of Big Data and AI on tackling disease. It will also discuss the opportunity to empower citizens or patients’ groups to use health data responsibly.

The panel will look into future developments how to further adapt the governance of health data and how to improve cooperation between the public and private sector to ensure that the rapidly evolving technical innovations in digital health matches the changing public health requirements of modern societies.
