On the Way to the EP Decision on the NGTs Regulation

Re-Imagine Europa & EU-SAGE will organise the hybrid event, “On the Way to the EP Decision on the NGTs Regulation”, at the European Parliament in Brussels on the 10th of January, from 13:00-15:00 (CET).

This event holds significant importance as it centres around the critical and timely discussion of the draft EC legislation on New Genomic Techniques (NGTs). We are assembling a gathering of experts and policymakers who will come together to address any remaining concerns and questions about NGTs, strategically scheduled just before the decisive vote in the Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) on the 24th of January 2024. The event will be kindly hosted by Ms Šojdrová MEP, Ms Polfjärd MEP, Mr Olekas MEP, and Ms Vrecionová MEP, providing a unique opportunity to give an update on the progress of the NGT file at both the ENVI and AGRI Committees of the Parliament.
