Working with Leaders and Decision-Makers to Deliver Change

International AI Council convened in Madrid with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez

Strategies to bridge the gap between political decisions and the drivers of durable social change

Even the most rigorously designed policies do not implement themselves. Translating a high-level decision into lasting transformation requires a specific type of leadership -one capable of navigating profound uncertainty, intense public scrutiny, and systemic contestation.

Re-Imagine Europe serves as a strategic partner to senior decision-makers at national, EU, and global levels. Our role is not to replace political judgment, but to support it — by helping leaders anticipate hidden resistance, understand the complex meaning environment in which decisions will land, and manage the social nd institutional risks inherent to bold actions. We operate at the core of global and European governance, partnering with the United Nations, the European Institutions, and national governments and public bodies across the continent.

This work is grounded in the direct involvement of our leadership in the highest levels of policy advice. Our Chief Executive, Erika Staël von Holstein, serves as memeber of the Spanish International AI Advisory Council, the International Forum on Digital and Democracy (IFDaD), and the European Commission Science Diplomacy Groups.

Furthermore, both our Chief Executive and the President of our Advisory Board, Maria João Rodrigues, contribute their expertise to several high-level expert groups and strategic advisory boards, including the the Conclave, and the Sienna Conference of the Future of Europe.

By focusing on the intersection of social psychology, power, and policy, we identify the specific conditions that move a mere “decision” into a possible, legitimate, and durable political transformation.
